Doctor Joanna Renee Linsteadt graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. 

She attended medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio (now the Long School of Medicine) as a distinguished Lozano-Long Scholar.

After earning her Doctor of Medicine degree, she completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio and served as Chief Resident in Quality and Patient Safety. 

She attended gastroenterology fellowship at University of Texas Health Science Center-San Antonio and co-authored several research abstracts while completing an additional certification in quality and safety during that time. 

She is currently working as the only female board-certified gastroenterologist in Corpus Christi, TX and the surrounding area and is full partner with the Abdominal Specialists of South Texas.

Doctor Linsteadt was raised in the apostolic faith by her two devoted parents, Reverend M. Craig Stallard and Carol Stallard, who have pastored Calvary Lighthouse Church in Portland, Texas for over 25 years. She is a worship leader with the music team of Calvary Lighthouse and is a founding member of the Couples Connect family life group. She loves doing life with her loving husband Eric and her beautiful boys, Samuel and Ezekiel, with Jesus at the center of it all.
